The Walking Dead Special Effects Montage
Watching this video makes me feel like an idiot. I remember sitting in my brother-in-law’s living room during the premiere of The Walking Dead, thinking to myself “MAN! They went all out with the set pieces for this show.” Little did I know, it was just computer generated visual effects at work. *sigh* I am such a noob.

Since his inception I have been a big fan of Conan O’brien’s super hero alter ego, The Flaming C.
So it pains me to see this teaser cover for a Flaming C comic book that forces me to ponder how amazing a real Flaming C comic book could be. Check out the cover below created by artist, Justin C. Orr.
And here is the new Flaming C video clip. Can I please get a show dedicated to just the Flaming C? Come on, Adult Swim! This shouldn’t be hard.

The Governator Cartoon Is A Thing That Is Happening
Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t waste any time. He is fresh out of the office and already back to making movies and TV shows.
His latest project is the realization of his famous media nickname, The Governator. This is a real thing, people. I posted the trailer below. Read my thoughts on it after the video.
Alright, so my problem with this trailer is that it is so family-friendly that it completely misses the point of what makes The Governator concept so funny. This cartoon was made to sell merchandise to kids and does not embody the concept of a badass cyborg ruling as governor whilst kicking ass in the name of America.
And ultimately this is happening because Arnold himself is involved to some extent. Which means the creators behind the show / movie have to consider Arnold’s public image.
But if Arnold wasn’t behind the show / movie, we would probably have something more along the lines of this…
… and it would be awesome.

New Thundercats Wondercon Trailer
A new Thundercats trailer premiered at Wondercon this past weekend. Fans of the original 80′s cartoon will most likely moan and groan over this, but I don’t think it looks halfway bad. I won’t be expecting amazing plots or solid character development through the show, but it looks like a fun actioner.
The show is set to premier on Cartoon Network in July, 2011.
Lewis Black Advocates Donald Trump For President 2012
I am not a huge fan of Lewis Black. I don’t like his whole “seizure on stage and yell at the audience” act. It distracts me from his jokes. But his latest bit on The Daily Show in which he talks about why Donald Trump should be president in 2012 knocks it out the park. Check out the video below.
So Um, How Bout That New Wonder Woman TV Show Costume…
A Wonder Woman TV show pilot is in development for NBC. This is the Wonder Woman costume that will be donned by actress Adrianne Palicki who plays Wonder Woman in the upcoming show.
The costume and the framing of the photo all look like something out of a Halloween costume store ad. I mean, it’s classic Wonder Woman in color and form, but the shininess of it all makes it hard to take seriously. It just looks really cheap. I am a little disappointed, just a little. Ok, not really…
