Say it ain’t so! I hope this is not the end of Thousand Pound’s Ultra Combo series. If so, I am glad they end it with a most epic final video.
Made by animator Robb Pratt, Superman Classic is as the title describes, “classic”. It is reminiscent of Superman’s golden age with its visual style and sounds. Very cool. Check it out.

This video makes me laugh because it showcases the cheesyness of the Street Fighter IV taunts and one liners, but the video is also showcases the best interpretation of the fighting styles from the franchice. More so than any of the Hollywood live action films. How sad is that?

Yep, it’s unofficially fan film week. Check out this incredibly well done Fallout fan made film. It has great production value, and just looks pro through and through.
The synopsis for the film reads as this: Join Twig (Zack Finfrock), a former Vault 10 Dweller, as he searches the barren wasteland of eastern California for ice-cold Nuka Cola. Along for the ride is Ben (Aaron Giles), a radiation-ravaged ghoul, and Scarlett (Tybee Diskin), a sexy former slave. Together, the three attempt to survive both the harsh wastes and a relentless group of bounty hunters while trying to find the coveted beverage — Nuka Cola.
Seriously, is it awesome fan film week? Did I miss the memo? Hrmph! Spam box is always hiding my important mails.
If you haven’t played Super Meat Boy, put it on your list of games to play. It’s one of the most exhilarating, rage inducing, happy fun time games I have ever played. Visit the Super Meat Boy site to learn more about the game.
Another great fan made short film today! Hooray for fan made short films. I just hope the franchise license holders don’t go all legal and sue the makers of this short film. DON’T SUE ME, BRO!
It’s been almost 2 years since the teaser for Beyond Black Mesa hit the web, but the short film is finally done and online! Check it out below. Shot with one Canon HV20 (I have an HV30, so I am wondering why I am not doing work like this *sigh*), a crew of 7, and a budget of 1,200. Great stuff!
